The Voyager is for engineers and architects who build with AI and want to keep up without reading everything. There are two things to read, and you can use either one on its own.
1. The Daily Brief, about 5 minutes
Each morning, up to six stories: the top story, models, agents, research, someone worth following and an architecture pattern. Every story links to its source and ends with what it means for you. Open today's brief, or read the "In 30 seconds" list at the top if you only have a minute.
2. One Deep Dive a day, 10 to 15 minutes
A single topic, explained properly, with a hands-on part you can do when you have time. The posts follow a66-week curriculum: each week has one theme, and each day of the week looks at it from a different side:
- Models & Agentic · Mondays · 4 so farThe week's big model or platform news, then the week's theme taught as a building block.
- Research · Tuesdays · 4 so farA paper on the week's theme, read closely, or the paper everyone is discussing that week.
- System · Wednesdays · 4 so farAn enterprise use case designed end to end, from business case to delivery plan.
- Interview · Thursdays · 4 so farA senior or architect-level interview question on the theme, with a strong answer.
- GitHub · Fridays · 4 so farThe trending repo worth reading, or one that implements the theme, read from the code.
- Builds · Saturdays · 4 so farA weekend build on the theme: two suggestions with a plan, plus room for your own idea.
- Lab · Sundays · 4 so farA step-by-step path toward building and changing LLM architectures yourself.
Where to begin
- Short on time: read the Daily Brief, and the takeaways box at the top of one Deep Dive.
- Preparing for a senior or architect role: start with System and Interview.
- Want to build: pick a Build for the weekend, or follow the Lab from step 1.
